A Sydney Firm
Born and bred in Sydney, Mark brings a typically Sydney focused approach to his work.
“It is always about getting the best result possible for the client while staying real irrespective of the circumstances.”
From his earliest memory, the law has been part and parcel of Mark Sheller's life. He was born shortly after his father, the Hon Simon Sheller AO QC, started his career at the New South Wales Bar and witnessed the hard work, the discipline and finally, but not insignificantly, the importance of the legal profession's contribution to society, particularly the society in which Mark grew up.
Becoming a lawyer proved irresistible to Mark and his brother, James.
Since his admission in 1986, Mark has forged his own successful career as a solicitor. Over thirty years he learnt his craft from lawyers widely regarded as the best in their fields. That career now finds its voice in a boutique firm based in Sydney, steeped in traditional roots, practicing the flexibility of the twenty-first century while holding dear the ethical responsibilities which being a very proud lawyer demand.

With the miracle of Artificial Intelligence and the opportunities which it offers, becoming more and more part of the legal landscape, the new traditions of practising as a lawyer are being forged now.

Mark Sheller embraces the philosophy of givers' gain and looks forward to the opportunity of helping others who are less fortunate than him.

Sheller is a law firm built upon an unshakeable foundation of high values and ethics. This foundation is the benchmark for every step forward which Sheller takes.
“Laws and principles are not for the times when there is no temptation; they are for such moments as this, when body and soul rise in mutiny against their rigour… if at my convenience I might breach them, what would be their worth?” Charlotte Bronte, Jane Eyre
